A Heart Felt Message

Apologies for the silence on the blog lately; it's been a challenging week, to say the least. With nearly a thousand miles clocked on the road, I've faced more than just the usual hurdles. It's disheartening to admit that the past six courses I've visited haven't allowed me to collect funds or even promote our cause.

Behind this roadblock lies a disturbing truth. An individual, motivated by spite and jealousy, has been circulating emails to these courses, tarnishing my efforts to raise money for Dementia UK. The accusations hurled against me are not just untrue but deeply hurtful. Yet, I refuse to let this deter me.

Legal action is underway against this individual, but in the meantime, I've reached out to all the courses affected, shedding light on this malicious campaign. It's beyond comprehension why anyone would go to such lengths to sabotage a charitable endeavor. Such actions reveal the true character of this individual, and it's a stain on their integrity.

Nevertheless, the show must go on. Despite these setbacks, I remain resolute in my commitment to reaching the £20,000 target for Dementia UK. With 34 courses left to visit, I'm hopeful that they'll see through the smokescreen and stand with me in this worthy cause.

On a brighter note, a dear friend, Paul Chiplin, has stepped in to alleviate some of the personal financial pressure by arranging a car for me from the 20th of May. It's a small beacon of hope in these trying times.

Thank you for your unwavering support. Normal blog updates will resume tomorrow, as we continue our journey towards making a difference, one mile at a time. Donations can be made at the Just Giving page here: Until next time Graham Arnold
